Day & Community Services

Situated in a beautiful setting there’s always a friendly atmosphere, we offer a well equipped centre with an excellent, well trained team providing support for adults with all levels of ability.

While we are open to all, we specialise in those individuals with a learning disability and or physical disabilities.

We provide a range of activities, experiences and learning opportunities, including:

Music with professional musician Baz Bix
Life Skills, helping build confidence and practical skills
Art, a creative workshop aimed at all abilities
Cooking, encouraging fun in the kitchen
Gardening (March to September) grow your own flowers, vegetables or simply enjoy being outside
Pottery, led by professional potter David a real opportunity to get you hands dirty!
Drama, helping to develop confidence and have fun in a safe environment

All Rose Hill’s day sessions are available to those who wish to attend and bring there own care staff (appropriate staffing levels must be provided).

In addition to this, complete care packages with support provided and an individually designed program, there are many more activities on offer to suit clients needs and wishes from physiotherapy to golf. The cost of these packages varies for each individual depending on their specific needs.

We are also keen to expand our community services to include:

Social and recreational activities
Residential and/or community based respite care
Emergency care
Support for carers
Support for families to provide home based care for longer

and tell you about any local social events
